Happy Easter!

What an amazing Easter weekend! For the first time in over a week, the rain stopped and the sun came out (rather fitting considering the holiday we were celebrating!). We spent Saturday with the Prentice Family. And a family friend, Jen & her 2 girls came too. It was so fun to watch all the kids play together and hunt down the eggs Bapa hid.
This morning, the kids got to search for their Easter baskets from the Easter Bunny. Much to their delight, he brought Jacob & Sophia Angry Birds stuffed animals. And Jack got a teething ring. WAHOO!

Then we all headed up to Braham for Easter with the Person family. It was so great to see Papa's family...we figured out that it had been over a year and a half since we had all been together. It was great to catch up with everyone. There was another egg hunt...and more candy. I think we consumed enough sugar to last us a month! Now if we can just get the kids to settle down so they'll actually sleep!
