Wow! What a Christmas! Every year I'm blown away by how blessed we are. There was no shortage of presents this year, that's for sure! And the excitment of the season was renewed in Craig and I while we watched Jacob & Sophia experience the "magic" of Christmas.
We spent Christmas Eve with my family and enjoyed a wonderful Christmas Eve service at Wooddale, and then followed it up with a tasty appetizer dinner. The kids enjoyed opening their gifts and us adults enjoyed the "almost" uninterupted gift opening while the kids played with their new treasures.

Christmas morning was a new tradition for us. We woke up in our own beds and the kids got to run down the stairs to see if Santa came. Of course, he did! As much as the kids can drive me nuts, their "good" outweighed their "naughty". And we got to open presents as a family.
Later in the morning, Craig's family came over. We had a great meal of cheese manicotti and salad. Then opened our gifts and then ate some more appetizers and cookies. Can I say "STUFFED"!?! But what a great time. Now it's just a matter of figuring out where to put everything!
