Memorial Day Weekend

I can't remember a Memorial Day weekend with better weather! Sunny...hot. Gotta love an early summer in Minnesota!

This weekend we started out by traveling up to Grand Rapids to the Person cabin for the day on Friday. The kids got to swim on the beach, go tubing, kayaking and fishing. And to top it all off, had a great dinner at Zorbaz! YUMM! Princess Brenna with her sparkly bow, stuffed animal & cheeks filled with McDonald's fries!

On Saturday, we made our way south to the Prentice cabin in Aitkin. We got out on Bay Lake and enjoyed a few hours of sun & swim before heading over to Rutger's for dinner.

She was so exhaused by the end of the boat ride, that she collapsed on the floor clinging to her only life-source...3 bags of crackers!

We came home from the cabin on Sunday evening and spent Monday together as a family before Craig headed off to Duluth for another week of work. Despite the CRAZY crowds, we enjoyed our time at Como Zoo and Como Town.
