This winter has been a little too long for my liking. And with Craig traveling as much as he is, Jacob, Sophia & I needed a little change of pace. So, tonight I decided to take them on a winter picnic. We made a picnic dinner and grabbed a picnic blanket. Jacob was in charge of finding us the perfect spot to eat. But first he had to take us on a hike through the "forest" (aka our kitchen), where we saw an owl and tip-toed past a bear cave. Fortunately, the bear was sleeping. After a good 10 minutes, Jacob finally found the best picnic spot (right in front of our fireplace).
