What a great day! And a beautiful reminder that these precious children of ours belong to our Heavenly Father! I've been reminded that she is not only our daughter, but she is a unique and beautiful gift from God. As scary as the role of parenting can be, there is peace in knowing that God created our children with US in mind. Before Craig & I were even born, He saw our family on this day. And so it's a great reminder that Sophia is our gift, and she is God's child...we may not know what His plans are for her, but we can trust that His purpose for her life (and Jacob's) are far greater than we know. Corrie ten Boom once wrote, "Never be afraid to trust an unknown future in the hands of a known God". How true!
