It's not too often I get to have a date night with my favorite, young man.
So, when Jacob's school was holding an open house, and Craig had to go out of town unexpectedly, I called our favorite babysitter, Bailee, to watch Sophia & Jack.
Jacob and I had a special dinner at the Tavern.
He charmed the waitresses.
Sipped politely on his Sprite.
Told me his best jokes.
Shared his pizza.
And opened the door for me.
He's going to make some girl very happy someday.
In the meantime, I'm happy to be the special girl in his life!
