This morning, I had the opportunity to volunteer in Sophia's classroom for her Valentine's Party. I did this last year for Jacob's class, and I have to admit, it's a lot different when you're the parent of a girl.
This year, we spent time coloring Valentine pictures and making heart-shaped play-doh cakes. Last year, I was in the middle of a balloon fight and building a monster truck race track. Not to mention that Sophia really took the colors of Valentine's Day to heart...donning her signature pink tutu and hot pink sparkle shoes. She couldn't be anymore girly...and I LOVE it!
