When Jacob was 1, he and I attended a local ECFE class. It was there that we met Kari and her twin boys, Connor & Ryan. After getting to talking, we discovered that we lived only 2 blocks from one another! It started with a playdate at a park and evolved into BBQs with the whole family. Needless to say, we all became great friends.
In December, Kari's husband, Dave, got relocated to Ohio, and they moved away. Jacob didn't quite understand what moving to another state would mean for him & his closest friends. So, when they came back this week to visit, it was extra special for the boys.
We spent Wednesday night celebrating Connor & Ryan's 6th birthday with their cousins, aunt, uncle & grandparents. And then on Friday night, they all came to our house for a little bit more play time.
