W-emon

Jacob LOVES lemons & limes. But his vocabulary isn't quite mature enough to make the "L" sound. The other day, he asked me for a w-emon slice and I took it as an opportunity to teach him how to get the sound out right. We practiced for several minutes.

"L-l-l-l-emon"
"L-l-l-l-ime"
"L-l-l-l-emon"

And then, as if a light when off in his head, he looked at me with a huge grin on his face and shouted, "Mommy!! I did it! I can say W-emon & W-ime!!!"

Oh well...gotta appreciate the effort.
